This summer, McDonald’s Japan and Universal Studios Japan are bringing an extraordinary collaboration to life with the new Happy Set® “Universal Studios Japan All-Stars.” Starting July 12, this limited-time offering will feature 12 exclusive toys based on beloved characters from the theme park.
Exciting Lineup of Toys
The first phase, running from July 12 to July 18, will include toys inspired by the popular “Super Nintendo World” attractions, such as Mario and Yoshi. Additionally, toys from the upcoming “Donkey Kong Country” area, set to open in late 2024, will also be available.
In the second phase, from July 19 to July 25, the collection will expand to feature toys based on popular characters like the Minions from Illumination Entertainment, Curious George from Universal Pictures, and the iconic Jaws. This phase promises six new toys designed to capture the excitement of the theme park parades, perfect for outdoor and water play.
Third Phase and Campaigns
Starting July 26, the third phase will offer all 12 toys from the first two phases, allowing fans to collect any they might have missed. Supplies are limited, so grab your favorites while they last.
To make this summer even more special, McDonald’s is launching the “Happy Summer USJ Campaign.” Customers who purchase a Happy Set® “Universal Studios Japan All-Stars” toy with a total purchase of 1,000 yen (including tax) or more can enter to win fantastic prizes such as Universal Studios Japan Studio Passes.
Educational and Fun Toys
Universal Studios Japan supports McDonald’s Happy Set® initiative, which aims to create engaging toys and books that help children develop while having fun. This collaboration aligns with McDonald’s mission to foster logical thinking, spatial awareness, and fine motor skills through play.
